  • Understand how people react to change
  • Assess the underlying needs of those impacted by a change
  • Identify where people are on the Emotional Journey of Change and help them move through the stages and find a new normal

Uncovering Sources of Resistance and Challenge

  • Learn the most common sources of resistance and concerns about change
  • Remove the stigma of “resistance” while helping those who are stuck move forward
  • Learn five different change personality styles and how to support each one

Communicate and Engage Impacted Employees

  • Determine your key messages and mediums
  • Understand why Change Communication often backfires and how to avoid this

Supporting yourself through change

  • Identify your Change Response
  • Ten strategies for supporting yourself through change that can be easily shared
  • Building a personal action plan for positively responding to change

METHODOLOGY

This half-day workshop is highly interactive involving participants in assessments, gap analysis, surveys, individual and group activities, and discussions.

We will be applying the tools to existing change challenges though practice will be limited due to time constraints.  Participants will be provided with worksheets so they can apply the tools after the session.

Participants will develop personal action plans to ensure the learnings from the session will provide immediate benefits.
