Today, projects are a part of almost every work environment. You may be a project team member contributing to the project management effort, a subject matter expert responsible for providing technical expertise or creating a project element, an executive responsible for project oversight or a project manager leading the project team. The project environment is a fast-paced, flexible, ever-changing environment. To meet this challenge, organizations are recognizing the value of developing agile and resilient project management competencies among their staff that supports team building and the delivery of project benefits.
This instructor-led course introduces the principles and practices of project management as described in global standards, such as the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) and ISO 21502. You will participate in a simulated project team and contribute to the development of a project plan for a real project, and benchmark learnings against projects in your own work environment.
This is a “hands-on” course in which you will be able to practice tools that will help you identify a strategy for the delivery of a small to medium-sized project, develop a plan for the project and work with a project team.
