Alfonso helps people understand themselves, their impact, and how to lead with clarity and confidence. With more than 30 years in public sector leadership across municipal, regional, and provincial governments, he brings a practical, people‑focused approach to learning and organizational change.

He has spent over 25 years facilitating workshops, courses, and planning sessions, and has taught at Sheridan and Humber Colleges on leadership development topics. His experience makes him comfortable working with leaders at all levels, whether he’s guiding a strategic discussion or helping a team navigate complex change.

A lifelong learner, Alfonso holds a BA from St. Francis Xavier University and has completed extensive professional development in executive management, adult education, change management, mental health leadership, and diversity & anti‑racism.

Most recently, he served as a senior manager with the Regional Municipality of York, leading large teams and supporting major operational and policy initiatives, including province‑wide pilots.

Alfonso believes that when people understand how they show up, they can lead with intention and create meaningful, lasting change.

Outside of his professional work, Alfonso enjoys reading and playing soccer.
