Paul Kelly started out studying traditional film and photography at Ryerson University. After graduating, he began a long relationship with Toronto Image Works, where he was first introduced to Adobe Photoshop. There was no turning back – he quickly dove into a career in graphic design, launching his own business – providing freelance design, production, and digital illustration services to a wide range of clients.
He soon began teaching the graphic design software he was using every day – becoming an Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, then upgrading to an Adobe Certified Instructor. He has taught in full time programs at York, Seneca, Humber and continues to teach through Sheridan’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
Paul has been teaching for over 20 years, is a certified CompTIA CTT+Classroom Trainer, and has been an ACE in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign for all versions of the Adobe Creative Suite.
When not training, Paul stays actively involved in layout, design, and production –freelancing in a wide range of settings.
