COURSE DESCRIPTION

Microsoft Excel in Microsoft 365 is the industry-standard spreadsheet application for organizing, transforming, analyzing, and visualizing business data. Whether you are tracking operational information, working with budgets, importing data from external sources, or building dashboards, Excel provides powerful tools for turning data into useful insight.

This hands-on course will teach you the important functions of this industry-standard software.

Courses are delivered using the current Microsoft 365 version of Excel. Content can be customized for organizations using other supported Excel versions or update channels.

  • Understand the process of data extraction, transformation, and loading, data analysis, and dashboard creation
  • Apply the ELT process, perform it manually with Excel, using Power Query with a variety of data types, cleaning and shaping transformations, and loading options
  • Understand various dashboard layout and design considerations, analyze data, and create visual dashboard objects
  • Create and customize Slicers to extend filtering capabilities and enhance the usage and appearance of a dashboard, as well as update the default data folder path for data files with external connections (if required)
